Alberto G. Montefalcon, Jr. is an attorney representing clients in a variety of legal areas, including matters involving immigration, bankruptcy, personal injury, and real estate. Mr. Montefalcon, an immigrant from the Philippines, has vast experience in all matters related to acquiring permanent residency, non-immigrant status, and U.S. citizenship. As well as his legal accreditation and experience, Mr. Montefalcon is a licensed real estate broker in the State of California and has extensive knowledge and experience involving residential real estate transactions.
After earning his bachelor’s and law degrees, and admitted to the practice of law in the Philippines, Mr. Montefalcon worked in both civil and criminal areas before migrating to the United States, where he successfully passed the California bar exam. He then founded the Montefalcon Law Offices, thus beginning his work to protect the legal rights of his clients in the United States and abroad. As the Montefalcon Law Offices evolved, Mr. Montefalcon utilized his experience with immigration and real estate matters to include other areas of practice, such as bankruptcy and personal injury.
Mr. Montefalcon actively participates in various community and professional organizations. He was a two-term president of the Filipino American Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Montefalcon is a founding member and currently serves as president of the Sacramento Filipino American Lawyers Association (SacFALA). He is likewise the president of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) California Chapter and sits on the Board of Trustees of the University of San Carlos Law Alumni Association. He is the Regional Governor for Eastern California and Nevada of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association for 2021-2022.
He enjoys traveling, good music, dancing, playing basketball, golf, and badminton, as well as serving as a youth mentor.
